GALENA PARK - They say defense is what wins championships, but the North Shore Mustangs aren’t leaving anything to chance. David Aymond’s squad has played solid defense this year however it’s their offense which has propelled them to a 3-0 start.

In three games, the Mustangs are averaging 55 points. Senior quarterback Micah Thomas is leading the way now that he’s learned the nuances of the offense.

KHOU 11 Sports reporter Daniel Gotera caught up with the Mustangs.
