HOUSTON – There used to be plenty of buzz around Houston when it came to Pro Wrestling. Paul Boesch and his crew were seen weekly in town, but over the years the interest in the sport dwindled.

However, Chaz Taylor, his father Tugboat and promoter Chris Ronquillo are leading the charge and are trying to bring it back to the popularity it reached back in the day. The Taylor's run a school out of a dark, old, rundown warehouse and they teach prospective athletes the fundamentals with the hopes of one day sending them to the ring.

The second Friday of every month, Ronquillo and his staff welcome those who are ready for the bright lights wrestle in an old VFW hall off Highway 290 in Northwest Houston. The matches are part of NWA Houston, a branch of a much the larger NWA Texas chapter which features fights across the state.

KHOU 11 Sports reporter Daniel Gotera caught up with the crew and has this awesome story.
