HOUSTON - Memorial High School junior infielder Kody Clemens announced over the weekend that he has committed to play baseball at the University of Texas.
Kody is the son of former MLB pitcher Roger Clemens, who also attended UT.
On Twitter, Kody wrote, “Just committed to play baseball at THE University of Texas! Can’t wait to play there with my bro! Hook’em! #BleedOrange”
Kody follows in his families footsteps. In addition to Roger, Kody’s brothers Koby and Kacy also committed to UT. Koby elected to play professionally instead of going to school while Kacy will be heading to Austin for his freshman year in the fall.
