A U.S. District Court judge in Florida has officially dismissed a frivolous lawsuit filed against Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel.

Manziel’s agent immediately responded that the filing, and its salacious allegations of sexual harassment, were fraudulent. The judge, Steven Merryday, agreed.

“The complaint is stricken as immaterial, impertinent and scandalous,” Merryday wrote in his order to dismiss the complaint that was obtained by USA TODAY Sports.

Merrday’s order was issued May 28, 12 days after the initial complaint was filed by mail to the court in Tampa using a false name.
