HOUSTON – Rockets center Dwight Howard has said one of the reasons he came to Houston was because it provided an opportunity for him to work with some of the greats of game.
Well, the classes have already started.
This week, Howard is working with Rockets head coach Kevin McHale and Hall of Fame center Hakeem Olajuwon over at Toyota Center.
The practice was closed to the media and to the general public, but HoustonRockets.com reporter Jason Friedman was invited to watch and posted the above picture along with the message below.
“So this is happening right now: Dwight, Olajuwon and McHale. Can confirm dream shake as potent as ever.” - @JasonCFriedman
Howard has worked with Olajuwon in the past while he was with Orlando. Soon after he signed with the Rockets, the organization invited The Dream to once again become part of the team to help coach Howard and several of the team’s big men, including Omer Asik.
