HOUSTON – The Houston Dynamo will host the New York Red Bulls on Sunday at 4 p.m. CT at BBVA Compass Stadium in a match presented by Visa. Tickets are available at www.HoustonDynamo.com, by calling 713-276-GOAL, or at the stadium ticket office (2200 Texas St., Houston) from noon through kickoff on Sunday.
Sunday’s game will be broadcast live on CSN Houston Plus (3:30 p.m. pregame) and UniMás (Spanish). The game can be heard on Yahoo Sports Radio 1560 AM and La Ranchera 850 AM (Spanish).
The Dynamo (10-9-7; 37 points) are tied for fifth place in the Eastern Conference with the New England Revolution. The Red Bulls (12-9-6; 42 points) are tied for first place in the East following a 2-1 win over D.C. United on Saturday in New York.
Sunday’s game against New York will complete a stretch of seven games in 23 days in all competitions for the Dynamo. The crowded schedule began on Aug. 17 with a home win over the Seattle Sounders and included road games in Trinidad and Tobago, Montreal, Chicago and Columbus. So far, the Dynamo are 2-2-2 over the first six games of the stretch.
Tomorrow is the second of three games between the Dynamo and Red Bulls this season. New York secured a 2-0 home win in the first meeting on June 30. The third game between the clubs in Oct. 20 in Houston.
The visiting team has never won a regular season game in the all-time series between Houston and New York. The Dynamo are 3-0-4 (W-L-T) and the Red Bulls are 6-0-3 all-time in regular season home games between the clubs.
