HOUSTON – The Katy Tigers will face the Cedar Hill Longhorns in the Class 5A Division II State Football Championship at 4 p.m. Saturday at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington.
The Tigers, led by head coach Gary Joseph, are undefeated at 15-0 after beating Cibolo Steele last week in the state semifinals. Head coach Joey Maguire and the Longhorns are 11-4 heading into the game after they beat Austin Westlake in the semifinals.
