STAFFORD - In the boxing world, a fighter is never finished proving people wrong. Houston’s own Jermell Charlo is about to get another shot at doing just that.
On Saturday, January 25th in Washington D.C., Charlo will enter the ring with Gabriel Rosado in a nationally televised fight that’s received lots of attention.
Long-time trainer Ronnie Shields has been with Jermell a long time and he’s seen his boxer grow from an amateur to a 22-0, undefeated pro.
Jermell’s brother, Jermall, who’s also a boxer, and his parents Kevin and Terrie will be there to show support. However, no matter how many times the family has done this, mom still gets nervous.
In fact Jermell is calling for a 3 round knockout.
