HOUSTON - Aaron Fletcher doesn’t need a mound to tower over the competition, but it certainly helps.
The senior lefty for Langham Creek has been sensational this season. He’s a perfect 11-0 with a 1.56 ERA and 111 strikeouts.
“I don’t really pay attention to stats much,” Fletcher said.
He also leads the team in RBI’s with 27 and has been on the varsity team all four years, a major accomplishment, especially with this program.
He’s always had a passion for baseball and kept playing the game while he was overseas. Aaron and his family spent four years in Angola and Azerbaijan and when he returned to the US in 7th grade, he hit the ground running.
He’s decided to stay at home for college and will pitch for the Houston Cougars come next season, but leaving his mark in high school isn’t finished just yet.
