KATY - Cinco Ranch senior Kayla Ober has been dominant this year compiling a record of 17-1 with 116 strikeouts and a 1.16 ERA. She also has a .567 average at the plate with 6 home runs and 27 runs batted in.
Kayla is hoping to lead the Cougars to their first appearance in the state tournament which is a goal that she says this team that she loves playing for deserves.
Her parents have been with her every step of the way. Next year, she’s heading to Texas A&M and one day she hopes to become a teacher, following in her mom’s footsteps.
