HOUSTON – Houston Texans wide receiver Andre Johnson will not play in the upcoming Pro Bowl.
The Houston Chronicle is reporting that Johnson opted out of the game because of a wrist injury that bothered him during the last part of the season.
Johnson has been replaced on the roster by Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson.
With Johnson out, the Texans will now have two players making the trip out the Hawai’i later this month. Defensive end J.J. Watt and left tackle Duane Brown will represent the team.
