MIAMI – Houston Texans wide receiver Andre Johnson will be inducted into the University of Miami’s Sports Hall of Fame this year.
The ceremony will take place on April 10th in Miami.
Johnson was dominant during his time with the Hurricanes from 2000-2002 where he had 92 receptions and 1,831 yards with 20 touchdowns.
Johnson led the Hurricanes to the 2002 National Championship and was named Co-MVP of the 2002 Rose Bowl. In the game, he had 9 catches for 199 yards and 2 scores.
In 2003, the Houston Texans made him the 3rd overall pick in the NFL Draft. Since then, Johnson has solidified himself as one of the best receivers during his time. Since 2003, he has 927 receptions, 12,661 yards and 61 touchdowns.
