BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) -- Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel, Missouri linebacker Kentrell Brothers and Arkansas punter Sam Irwin-Hill are the Southeastern Conference players of the week.

Manziel was 31-of-39 passing for 346 yards and ran for 118 yards and two touchdowns in the Aggies’ come-from-behind win over Mississippi to earn Monday’s offensive honors. He surpassed 7,000 yards in total offense in his 19th game, the fastest in FBS history.

Brothers made a career-high 10 tackles and had an interception in the final minute to help seal the Tigers’ win over Georgia.

Irwin-Hill averaged 53.5 yards on four punts, including a 79-yarder, against South Carolina.

Auburn quarterback Jeremy Johnson is freshman of the week. Alabama guard Anthony Steen received offensive line honors and LSU end Danielle Hunter is defensive lineman of the week.
