346-pound Chiefs DT Dontari Poe scores offensive touchdown

Dontari Poe plays plenty of important roles for the Kansas City Chiefs. Until Sunday, catching balls had not been part of his duties.

But in the third quarter of Sunday's game against the Oakland Raiders, Kansas City called on its 346-pound defensive tackle to find the end zone.

Poe began the third-and-goal play in the backfield before motioning out wide. Alex Smith quickly found his jumbo target on the tunnel screen, and Poe barreled ahead to find pay dirt. The play was officially ruled a lateral, making it a rush rather than a pass.

Poe became the largest player (in weight) to score a rushing touchdown last year when he had a 1-yard plunge against the San Diego Chargers.
