Kit Kittredge: An American Girl is a watchable G-rated kids' film that takes place during the Great Depression and stars Abigail Breslin as an investigative-minded 12-year-old who wants to be a journalist and help people.
Based on the popular books and popular dolls, the story has its roots in family, friendship and those less fortunate.
The impressive cast in this average film includes Stanley Tucci, Julia Ormond, and Joan Cusack, but the attaction here will be a movie going event for little girls and their dolls.
