Big changes are coming to our Animal Attraction column! Our monthly column is switching to a blog format -- that's a Web log or online journal for you newbies. This means I will be able to post new information, stories or animal-related musings on a more regular basis. I'm very excited about this, because it means I will be able to get news out to you almost as soon as I hear about it. We've also added a Houston pet event calendar to the Animal Attraction site. It's a fully searchable calendar, so you can look for events by using key words -- dogs, cats, pugs, goldens -- and find dates, contact numbers, and information. Here's a link: Pet event calendar.

All of this extra space means I need a lot to blog about so I need your help. If you have an event for the pet calendar, send as much information about it as possible -- including time and contact numbers -- to: petevents@baileyindy.com. You can also use that e-mail address for pet-related suggestions you'd like me to write about.
