ATLANTIC, Virginia (AP) — NASA has launched a suborbital rocket from its Wallops Flight Facility on Virginia's Eastern Shore.

The space agency says the Terrier-Lynx suborbital rocket was launched for the Department of Defense on Monday morning.

The launch originally was scheduled for Friday morning but NASA postponed it because of weather concerns.
