Thieves steal over $2,000 worth of pumpkins from N.J. farm

Four men in a minivan stole nearly 200 pumpkins from a New Jersey farm before dawn Tuesday, according to local reports.

The thieves, who took three trips back and forth from Farms View Roadstand in Wayne, N.J., were caught stealing on surveillance footage shared on WNBC 4.

Owner Todd Kuehm told the AP the pumpkin crop was worth more than $2,000. He’s offering a $1,000 reward to anyone able to assist with the arrest.

The farm has been in the family for five generations, since 1894, according to its website.

Anyone with information can call New Jersey's Wayne Police Department at 973-633-3530.
