AUSTIN -- Seven people were injured in an accident involving an SUV and a bus.
APD says the incident happened just after 3 p.m. Thursday at 5th Street and Trinity in downtown Austin and involved a Texas State University shuttle bus and an SUV.
EMS says seven people were taken to the the hospital. Six of them were taken to University Medical Center Brackenridge, two with potentially serious injuries. Another person was taken to St. David's Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
Ten people refused treatment at the scene.
Police say the bus driver ran a red light.
