History buffs and plane enthusiasts had an opportunity Saturday to see and explore famous World War II aircraft. The restored warbirds took to the skies for a display with full-blown explosions and re-enactments. The Hondo Army Airfield and the Tex Hill Wing of the Commemorative Air Force presented a special reenactment of the infamous bombing of Pearl Harbor. Festivities began at 9 a.m. with aircraft tours, souvenirs, and aerial performance at noon.
