It didn't take long for a massive fire to totally consume a house on the east side early Monday morning. The fire started at around 2:30, but by the time fire crews arrived on the scene the building was completely engulfed. Flames were seen shooting out of an abandoned house on S. Pine and Fredonia. Two homes next to the fire had to be evacuated, but those people were allowed back in once the fire was put out. The building appears to be a complete loss.
