SAN ANTONIO -- A 20-year-old woman was alone when two unknown Hispanic males broke into her home and tied her up Thursday morning, according to the San Antonio Police Department.
The victim' husband said the two suspects were dressed as CPS Energy workers when they allegedly entered the residence around 8 a.m. However, neighbors said the suspects were posing as undercover SAPD officers.
The two men tied the woman up with zip ties, grabbed her car keys and fled the scene in a 2006 black Nissan Maxima. The woman was not injured; however, she was worried because the suspects also took a key to her home.
The suspects are described as having dark complexions and wearing orange safety vests.
Police officers are actively searching for the suspects and were still investigating the scene at 10 a.m.
The incident happened in the 200 block of Pennystone Ave., near Goliad Road and E. Southcross Boulevard, on the southeast side of San Antonio.
