HOUSTON – Two men on the Texas Department of Public Safety’s 10 Most Wanted list were arrested this week, officials said.

Investigative leads led officers to a Duncanville residence where Fredrick Davis was apprehended Wednesday. Davis, 25, is a known Crips gang member and was wanted for parole violation, burglary of a habitation and violation of a bond/protective order.

Mexican authorities in Juarez, Mexico captured another fugitive, 22-year-old Carlos Rios on Wednesday as the result of a tip. He was turned over to the U.S. Marshals Service in El Paso the next day. Rios was wanted for failure to register as a sex offender and parole violation.

So far in 2013, DPS and other agencies have arrested 25 Texas 10 Most Wanted fugitives and sex offenders, including 10 gang members.
