SEGUIN, Texas-- A capital murder trial continues this week for a Seguin man who is accused of shaking his girlfriend's newborn baby to death.
Police say 32-year-old Michael League caused traumatic brain injuries to the 27-day-old girl.
Little Kyndra Billig died two days later at a hospital in San Antonio.
Defense attorneys began presenting their case last Wednesday.
If convicted, League could be sentenced to life in prison without parole.
