SAN ANTONIO -- A third arrest has been made in connection to a murder outside a north-side convenience store.
Police said the victim, 41-year-old Juan Romero, was attacked by three men outside the Diamond D Food Mart on Vance Jackson back in October.
Now the third suspect, 29-year-old Jose Velez, is in custody.
Investigators said Romero was beaten to death after getting into an argument at a nearby pool hall with Velez, Bernardo Crisanto and Larry Castro.
A witness came forward with information that led to Velez's arrest, authorities said.
