SAN ANTONIO -- A student caused quite a stir at Brackenridge High School Wednesday after school officials found them with a gun.
Leslie Price with the San Antonio Independent School District said the student was carrying an unloaded gun on campus.
"We do not believe there was any plan to use the weapon at the school, but regardless of intentions, this was a serious incident," Price said in a written statement.
The student was arrested by SAISD police and transported to the Bexar Juvenile Detention Center, according to SAISD.
The Brackenridge principal sent a letter to the student's parents, informing them of the incident.
