SAN ANTONIO -- A local high-school student was air-lifted to University Hospital after a fight broke out between two students on campus.
The incident happened Tuesday around 9:30 a.m. at Canyon High School, according to Julie Jerome, a spokesperson for Comal Independent School District.
One of the students was transported via Air Life in unknown condition, according to Air Life personnel.
Jerome said the altercation caused the school to be locked down temporarily. The school was in the process of transitioning back to its normal status by 11 a.m.
