The school district is investigating a senior prank that left Kountze High School in severe disarray.
Classes were delayed for more than one hour while students and staff cleaned up the mess.
The prank included catfish bait placed in air vents and some students said they had to go home early to get away from the smell.
The students involved left chairs hanging from the ceiling, tables stacked on top of each other, writings on the wall and notebooks and toilet tissue everywhere.
It took students and faculty an hour and a half to clean up the hallways.
The Kountze superintendent said he will decide which students will be penalized, and whether they can walk during graduation. He said they could also face criminal charges.
