SAN ANTONIO -- A 60-year-old registered sex offender was arrested Sunday for allegedly filming girls at a cheerleading competition at the Alamodome.
According to the San Antonio Police Department's Facebook page, Andrew Sanchez was charged with improper photography.
Investigators said a police officer who was working security for the cheerleading competition noticed Sanchez shooting video.
The officer questioned Sanchez after observing him zooming in on body parts of some of the young girls, according to SAPD.
Police said that Sanchez had no children attending the competition and that he was there solely for the purpose of his own gratification.
Sanchez was booked into the Bexar County Jail on a $7,500 bond.
Sanchez was convicted in 2008 of possessing child pornography.
