San Antonio parents warned of man who tried to abduct girl near school

SAN ANTONIO -- A student walking to Camelot Elementary School in San Antonio reported she was attacked about a block from the school  Wednesday morning.

The 5th grader said a man grabbed her, pulled her into a yard and groped her at the intersection of Ray Bon and Galad around 6:45 a.m..

A passerby stopped and helped the young girl before calling authorities.  NEISD police and SAPD are investigating the attempted abduction.

In a letter sent home to parents, the man was described as Hispanic with short hair wearing an orange shirt, blue jeans and a green baseball cap with one arm full of tattoos.
