SAN ANTONIO -- A man was shot multiple times in front of his family on San Antonio's south side late Sunday night.
Now, investigators are hoping someone may recognize the shooter's get-away vehicle.
Neighbors initially were calling the attack a drive-by shooting. But police later said there was some type of argument before shots were fired.
San Antonio police said the shooting happened around 9 p.m. Sunday in the 1900 block of Hunter near Loop 410 and Zarzamora.
The victim was standing outside the front of the home when a man drove up. Police said words were exchanged and then gunfire erupted.
Witnesses said they heard five to six gunshots and saw a white Ford F-15o driving away.
Investigators said when they arrived on scene, they found the victim shot in the chest and leg.
The shooting apparently happened while the man's family, including his children, were inside the home.
Officers combed the neighborhood looking for clues, but no one has been arrested.
The victim was airlifted to University Hospital. His condition was not known.
