SAN ANTONIO -- A San Antonio man has been arrested in connection to a convenience store robbery.

40-year-old Raymundo Martinez Jr. is facing a charge of aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon.

According to his arrest warrant, Martinez walked into the Times Market convenience store in the 1500 block of South Hackberry on June 28th and robbed the place at knifepoint.

Investigators said as he was demanding cash from the clerk a woman walked into the store with her grandchildren.

The woman grabbed the children and ran out of the store when she realized she stumbled into a robbery in progress, according to police.

Investigators said the woman recognized Martinez as someone she had worked with for two years and because of that she was able to identify Martinez.

Martinez was arrested on Tuesday. His bond was set $75,000.
