SAN ANTONIO -- A 19-year-old man was rushed to the hospital on Thursday morning after he was shot multiple times, police say.
The man pulled up to the Gibbs Mart at the intersection of Gibbs Sprawl and Walzem Road around 8:45 a.m. and told the store clerk he had been shot, San Antonio police said.
The victim was driving a Honda Accord that was registered to an unknown woman. Police said they found drugs inside the vehicle.
It is unknown why or where the man was shot, although police said they suspect it was the result of a drug deal gone bad.
The victim was not cooperating with the investigation, police said.
He was rushed to San Antonio Military Medical Center in critical condition.
