SAN ANTONIO -- San Antonio firefighters made a heroic rescue Monday morning, saving a man hanging from a third floor window as he tried escaping a burning apartment.
Firefighters received two alarms from Spyglass condominiums just after 8 a.m. When they arrived, one condo unit was in flames, and authorities said the owner of that unit was hanging out of the bedroom window.
Steve Sanchez saw the man and didn’t know what to do.
“He was hanging out he seemed like he was disoriented and yelling for help. Fire trucks were arriving at the time. They were able to get him down. They put the latter up and they pulled him down from the back,” said Sanchez.
