S.A. driver with head injury attempts to drive away from officers

SAN ANTONIO -- From afar, it appeared as though a car had just been in an accident.

Officers on the southwest side of San Antonio approached the vehicle at 1 a.m. and tried to pull the driver over, but he took off, so they followed him home.

Once the driver pulled into his home in the 9200 block of Port Victoria, he jumped out of the car and took off running. He didn't get far.

When police caught up to him, they found he had a head injury.

Police are figuring out why he was running from them.
