BRYAN, Texas – One of the world’s oldest Aggies turns 102 Tuesday.

Mike Dillingham graduated Texas A&M in 1935 and was one of the first students in the petroleum engineering program.

Friends and family are throwing a party for him Tuesday evening at the Carriage Inn in Bryan, where he’s been a longtime resident.

Dillingham and his wife, Georgia, help fund scholarships for Corps of Cadets members.

They retired to the College Station area to be closer to the university they love, according to The Eagle, a local newspaper.
