HOUSTON – The Oak Ridge Boys paid a visit to former President George H.W. Bush Saturday at his home and sang him a few of his favorite songs.

The president’s spokesman Jim McGrath said the group in the area to kick off their 40th anniversary tour at the Galveston Grand Opera House. They performed Saturday night and have another concert scheduled for Sunday.

When the president was staying at Methodist Hospital in Houston recently, the music group sand “Elvira” and “Amazing Grace” to him over the phone.
