DALLAS - A burglary and drunken driving suspect among the state's most-wanted fugitives was arrested last week at the Hurst car dealership where he worked, the attorney general's office announced today.
Michael Brian McCollum, 47, was arrested Friday for violating his parole after he was charged with burglary. He was also wanted in Dallas County on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.
He is being held in the Tarrant County Jail without bail.
McCollum was added to the Texas Department of Public Safety’s 10 most-wanted list last week, three years after he disappeared while facing a charge in a break-in. His last known address was in Richardson.
His criminal history, which began in 1984, includes charges of aggravated assault, burglary, fraud and possession of a controlled substance, DPS officials said.
