HUNTSVILLE, Texas -- The U.S. Supreme Court is considering appeals from a convicted killer seeking to avoid the Texas death chamber for the robbery-slaying of a suburban Dallas woman.

Anthony Doyle, who's 29, would be the fourth Texas inmate put to death this year if he's executed Thursday evening in Huntsville. His attorney wants the execution delayed so he can get a new punishment trial, asserting evidence was faulty.

Hyun Mi Cho (HYUN-mee-cho) was beaten to death while delivering doughnuts and breakfast tacos to Doyle's parents' home 11 years ago.

The 37-year-old woman was bludgeoned with a baseball bat, then robbed. Evidence showed Doyle later shared the food with friends after stuffing the woman's body into a trash can in an alley behind the house in Rowlett, a northeastern suburb of Dallas.
