SAN ANTONIO -- A 21-year-old man wanted in a home invasion and robbery that included an exchange of gunfire has been arrested by a fugitive task force in El Paso.
The U.S. Marshals Service said in a news release Sunday that Reese Pearis is in an El Paso Jail, awaiting extradition to San Antonio after being arrested without incident last week.
Pearis is accused of taking part in the home invasion with two unidentified suspects at a San Antonio apartment complex. Shots were exchanged with the apartment’s occupants. The Lone Star Fugitive Task Force, which involves several law-enforcement agencies, developed information that Pearis had fled to El Paso and located him there.
