AUSTIN, Texas -- A man was arrested for attempting to bring a weapon through a security gate at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport.
According to Austin police, TSA agents noticed a switchblade knife inside a carry-on bag as it went through an X-ray security screening at ABIA around 3 p.m. on Dec. 22.
John Raymond Goff, 39, owned the bag and knife and was arrested by authorities. He was then booked into the Travis County Jail and charged with unlawfully carrying a weapon, a third degree felony.
His bail was set at $5,000.
