HOUSTON—The Brazos County Justice of the Peace had strong words about the college station shooter.
On Thomas Caffall’s autopsy report Michael McCleary wrote that only the family could pick up the body. Typically he said, he’d list a local funeral home too. But in this case he said:
“I just put ‘family.’ I’m not going to let the county be out the expense of going and picking up his nasty ass body. I have no sympathy for him or the family.”
Caffall’s parents have said their son had mental health issues.
McCleary said they had a moral obligation to help their son and that the shooting should have never happened.
A funeral home did pick up Caffall’s body, but McCleary told them the county would not pay the bill.
