Hearing date set for June for driver accused in SXSW crash

AUSTIN, Texas -- The man who police say drove through a crowd during South by Southwest will have his pretrial hearing next month.

The judge reset  Rashad Owens' hearing for June 3.

Owens is charged with capital murder and aggravated assault.

Four people died and more than 20 were injured in March when Owens drove through a crowd on Red River Street.

Owens is in the Travis County Jail. His bond is set at $5.5 million.
