SAN ANTONIO, Texas -- A business jet heading to New Braunfels crashed Friday morning in Kansas, a local CBS affiliate has reported.
According to KWCH-TV the jet crashed in southeast Sedgwick County around 10:15 a.m.
A Federal Aviation Administration official on the scene said the jet was a Cessna 500 Citation with two people on board, KWCH reported. There were no survivors, according to KWCH.
Sedgwick County Sheriff Jeff Easter told KWCH witnesses reported hearing an explosion before the crash.
