SAN ANTONIO -- Wilson County residents are now safe to return home after Saturday's flash floods and emergency workers urged them out.
The Wilson County Office of Emergency Management terminated the evacuation order on Sunday morning.
The San Antonio River crested at 52.34 feet, approximately 8 feet below the initial National Weather Service prediction, and just 4 feet short of the record high.
The evacuation shelter at Floresville Middle School has closed.
No damage has yet been reported. There remains only one road closure at the CR 117 bridge.
