Police told KENS 5 a car drove into an elementary school under construction in Lytle, Texas, just before 10 p.m. Monday.

LYTLE, Texas -- Police told KENS 5 a driver tore through an elementary school in Lytle, Texas, just before 10 p.m. Monday.

The 50-year-old driver reportedly suffered a seizure and was airlifted to University Hospital. At last check, the woman was in stable condition.

The vehicle was removed from the building about an hour after the accident, according to the Lytle Police Department.
