DALLAS -- A Dallas Cowboy cheerleader's Halloween costume is drawing more jeers than cheers.

Whitney Isleib, originally from Friendswood, dressed as rapper Lil Wayne for a friend's Halloween party -- complete with black face and body paint.

Photos that popped up on Facebook were leaked to a sports blog, according to KTVK-TV in Dallas.

Some fans at the Cowboy's game against the Seahawks Sunday thought the costume was in poor taste.

"Assuming you would hold yourself up to a little bit higher standards, especially playing for the Cowboys," said Richard Vasquez. "Not much I can say about that one. It speaks for itself."

Other fans thought it was all in good fun.

"If she wasn't a Dallas cheerleader would it really matter?  It's Halloween, you know. you get to go how you want to go" says fan Laura Pyhrr.

No one from the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders or the team would officially comment, but a team spokesman told us the team is aware of the situation and addressing it internally.

This whole thing is ridiculous. Some people are just falling over themselves to get 'offended' by something or another.

Who cares? Why would anybody be offended by a Halloween costume. Maybe she is a big fan of his.

I agree, what's the big deal. It's Halloween, anything goes. i don't see anything offensive, I think she could have represented someone better but to each his own.
