SAN ANTONIO—Police were searching Tuesday for a man they say was shot and wounded after forcing his way inside someone else’s home.
Investigators said the suspect went looking for another man around 10:45 p.m. Monday at a house in the 3000 block of South Laredo. The door was answered by the man’s mother, who said her son wasn’t home.
Officers said the suspect then forced his way inside, so the mother pulled out a gun and fired.
Undeterred, police said the suspect kept going at her. That’s when the mother’s 18-year-old daughter reportedly also pulled a gun and fired.
At that point, the suspect took off.
Police took the woman, her daughter and two other sons in for questioning.
