AUSTIN, Texas – Gov. Rick Perry wasn’t the only person to get a one-on-one meeting with President Barack Obama Wednesday.
University of Texas student Kinsey Button of Houston shared a few minutes with the commander in chief at Magnolia Cafe in Austin.
Button wrote a letter to the president describing how hard it was to pay for college since both of her parents were out of work.
She later introduced the president at a public event.
Button also had an encouraging update to share with the president. She said after writing the letter her father got a job.
