AUSTIN, Texas -- The U.S. Marshals Service added Kevin Patrick Stoeser to its Most Wanted Fugitive list, warning the public he is a child predator and could be sexually abusing kids while on the run.

Stoeser served 13 years in prison for sexually abusing five young victims between the ages of 12 and 16, he also pleaded guilty to child pornography and raping a woman.

Stoeser escaped from a halfway house in Austin in Oct. 2013 and hasn't been seen since. The day he ran away from the Austin Transition Center staff found him with a smart phone with more than two dozen photos of scantily clad young women.

"All children who come in contact with Stoeser are potential victims of his," said Deputy U.S. Marshal Hector Gomez.

Gomez said Stoeser's ex-wife and daughter live in Killeen, but they don't know whether he's living in Central Texas.

"We are not going to dismiss the fact he could be in a transient camp, at a homeless shelter really anywhere," said Gomez.

Stoeser has several tattoos including the word Kayla on his left arm, khaos and Stoeser on his chest, barbed wire on his right arm and a naked woman on his right calf. The U.S. Marshals Service hopes someone will recognize this man, so he can no longer prey on children.

If you have information call 1-800-336-0102 or email usms.wanted@usdoj.gov. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to his arrest.
